Last summer we had a record number of days over 100 degrees. It seems like we’ve all ready had a month of days below freezing in Central Texas. I can’t remember a time when we’ve seen such extremes. Anyway, this cold weather has really put a damper on getting some miles on my new bike. I got the 1000+ we needed to get it broke in enough to get on the dyno between Christmas Day and New Years Day. But that has been about it. No riding last weekend. Heck, Sunday morning I didn’t ride it to Church as I knew there would be ice on the roadway. Sure enough on Berry Creek Dr, there were three sections where the road was completely covered in ice. No way to avoid it. Continue reading →
