Welcome to my Motorcycle Riding Blog!
I’ve been riding motorcycles since 1970. Some of you may remember me at Rio Bravo Motorcycle park riding the 250 intermediate class in the mid ’70s. I rode a Suzuki RM250 number 22 then. Fast forward 40 years and now I ride the back roads of Texas on my Harley Davidson Road Glide Ultra named “Scarlett”. I’m always accompanied by my wife of 30 years and together we ride with close friends or our church group.
With this website I’m documenting the motorcycle rides we take around Texas and the United States. Here you will find Texas route maps, lodging that I recommend, taco huts, burger joints, greasy spoons, and BBQ shacks along the way. I also like to discuss motorcycle safety and strategies you can use when riding motorcycle routes in the city as well as the back roads of Texas. Finally, please leave me a comment about how you enjoy Texas motorcycle riding!
Keep the shiny side up!
